    State records (work in progress)
        Our "unofficially official" New York State high school football record book fell into disrepair after the amazing Paul Hutzler retired before the 2018 season. The good news is that we did a huge overhaul in August 2024 to catch up on hundreds of previous omissions.

        As of Aug. 20, 2025, we are halfway through a fresh set of updates reflecting 2024 performances that merit a place on the lists. We should be done before the opening kickoffs the last weekend of August. Meanwhile, coaches and media can always contact John Moriello with details of other performances that may qualify.

        According to various recruiting services, these New York prospects are among the nation's early verbal commits to Division I-A college programs.
