Field goals made, single game
Plenty of people who consider themselves "football purists" are quick to say kickers are not real football players and are just barely athletes.

They should have been paying attention to Will Mahar on Sept. 20, 2013, when the McQuaid senior produced an amazing all-around effort that included seven receptions for 183 yards during a 22-21 win over Edison Tech. Mahar's fifth field goal of the night, a 52-yarder as time expired, was the deciding play.

Moments earlier, Knights quarterback Mark Nozzi completed a 41-yard pass to Mahar, who got out of bounds with 0.8 seconds left.

Mahar finished the game 5-for-6 with makes from 21, 33, 37, 41 and 52 yards.
